@Kachina624 @Krimpette :  I agree that the Clarks quality has fallen off, and wouldn't if be typical of a corporation to blame the messenger and not the product?

Re: Clark Saleslady

[ Edited ]

I liked Amy but I also haven't bought Clark's in a long time. The last time was at a Clark's store in a local mall.

Sally was let go from Earth and she was also a longtime rep.
Earth sold eventually to Marc Fisher. Earth quality had been in a decline too.

Perhaps Clark's is getting ready for a new ownership?
Longtime reps salaries may be a factor.

Sending good luck to Amy.

I felt that people would really be sad about Amy leaving!

Why is it we (meaning me) get so attached to sales people?

I know what you mean. I liked Amy a lot. I miss seeing her and I wish her nothing but the best.

@Krimpette.  I've wondered if Clark's sales at QVC  are off and they've blamed Amy?  I quit buying them because they're such poor quality.  I imagine others have too.

@Kachina624 I wouldn't be surprised. It's the mindset of many large companies.

However, I stopped buying not because of Amy who I enjoyed watching but because Clark's were no longer good quality after a while. Some of their shoes were known to fall apart and for me personally they hurt my feet. They also rarely offered arch support.

I just won't consider purchasing a brand that is no longer a good value no matter how cute they are.

@haddon9.  Amy was perhaps my favorite vendor rep.  You couldn't ask for better.   She was the last person I would have expected would've been fired.   Makes me very sad.

@haddon9   Amy is hoping to be a new QVC host now.  She mentioned it would be her dream job.  She has applied and is waiting to see what happens.  I wish her good luck, I think she'd be a good host.

Hmmm........I see links are allowed as long as it involves QVC-in other words, as long as they can hopefully profit from it.
