We have certain favorite Christmas shows.

We watched the "Honeymooners" episode where Ralph Kramden gets his fingers caught in the mousetrap, etc.

Also the "Green Acres" episode where Sam Drucker only has aluminum trees that "squirt spruce smell."

Then they all go to Oliver's house for Christmas, until Lisa brings out her "fruitcake" and they all run out the front door! LOL

I love watching older shows, but haven't seen many this year.

I'm watching A Christmas Story right now.  It's the beginning of the 24-hour marathon.

We always watch A Christmas Story not only because it's on for 24 hours or so but it's something most people can relate to in one way or another. I remember wearing a snow suit that was dark green and made of wool. It seemed to take days to dry after a day playing in the snow, so whenever I see "Ralphie's brother " who can't put his arms down I go back to the '50's and imagine that I said the same thing. Cracks me up every time.

My favorite Christmas movies are The Shop Around the Corner and The Bishop's Wife. I went on iTunes today and purchased them since I don't want to watch commercials.

Also, the one Hallmark movie that I just loved this year was Journey Back To Christmas with Candace Cameron Bure.
