So I got a jigsaw puzzle for Christmas. Not sure why as I never do them. I am busy enough with other things. So after all the Christmas to do was over with and we just were so over Christmas movies and nothing else to do I set it up. Surprise, surprise we all got into it. The older ones started it with me, then they moved on and the young hipsters sat and did it with me and then they moved on and it was just my husband and me at the end of the night. The best conversations I had were at that puzzle table.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

That's what it's all about.

No one can resist a puzzle.

There was often a puzzle out at my late MILs house.

Too funny!  I getting ready to go over to DD’s tonight to help her.  She got a 500+ piece one as a present and claims they have the borders done.  We shall see.

I love doing jigsaw puzzles.  I picked one up a couple of years ago of a little boy saluting the flag.  The child reminded me of my gradson, so I got the puzzle.  I enjoyed it so much that I kept buying them and doing them.  In the last three years, I've done about 25.  Hahaha

I mod podge them together and have hung a few of them up, but most are just on the floor under my bed.

@Nancy Drew

How fun!

I never do puzzles, but bought two this year from a place called the Puzzle Warehouse.

Both are Halloween scenes (my birthday) and I just could not resist them -- even the 1000 piece puzzle.

I expect it will take me forever to get them together, but I'm almost looking forward to it.

No children or youngsters to help me though.  I'm on my own unless DH joins in.

That's like it used to be...........card games - board games and puzzles before TV and electronics!  Just "R-Miss-Brooks" -  "Amos & Andy" and Andy Williams on the radio.  Life was sweet.  (no guns and knives in the morning paper)

Too funny.  A friend gave my husband a puzzle that was a photo of the two of them made into a puzzle.  I have never done a jigsaw in my life except for a child's one with the kids.  I am determined to do this, but it's making me nuts.  Every piece is basically the same shape!  Are all jigsaws like that?  I keep getting aggravated and walking away lol

When I lived in Orange County I had a retired neighbor who used to do elaborate puzzles.  She mounted everyone she finished and they were hanging all over her garage.  I thought that was a clever idea.

LOVE Jigsaw puzzles.  I do them on my computer daily.  Best site I've found is called jigsawsgalore dot com.  Great puzzles.  Before I got into the puzzles on my laptop, I always had one going on my dining room table, usually begun right after Christmas.  A great, relaxing way to spend some time!
