I'm sitting here listening to The Carpenter's Christmas album. She had such a beautiful voice. I also love listening to Andy Williams. My mother loved Ray Coniff. What are some of your favorites?? I'm wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah! Feeling very blessed!!

Nat King Cole, Harry Simone Choir, Gladys Knight & the Pips and Alvin & the Chipmunks. There are plenty of others, but these are the ones I always play when I’m baking Christmas cookies.

I also like The Carpenter's Christmas album - I've listened to it already and I usually don't start listening to my Christmas CD's or watch my Christmas DVD's til after Thanksgiving. But, this year I'm already on my second week of listening to my Christmas music and watching Christmas DVD's - right now I'm watching "The Bishop's Wife" with Cary Grant and Loretta Young.
Some of my other Christmas CD's I like are: Nat King Cole, Tim Janis (beautiful instrumental CD's), Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Clay Aiken (I love his version of "Mary Did You Know), Jenny Oaks Baker (she's a violinist).
Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you too mare54!

I just got out my old tire records. Goodyear, Firestone etc...Pretty much had the best Christmas songs by Barbara Streisand, Andy Williams, Perry Como, Sammy Davis Jr., Doris Day, Dinah Shore, Tony Bennett, Maurice Chevalier, The King Family, Bing Crosby, Johnny Mathis.
I bought them on ebay years ago after remembering my parents collection. Best Christmas music ever.

LeoGrl - you're right, those old Christmas TV specials do bring back good memories. It's sad they don't do those kind of specials anymore.
I also have some Mormon Tabernacle Choir CD's that are nice. I had the good fortune of being able to go to one of their Christmas concerts on Temple Square in Salt Lake City back in the 90's - it was wonderful. Temple Square is decorated so beautifully during the Christmas season.

I agree with all the above mentioned. Thanks for all your comments. I forgot to mention my husband loves Bare naked ladies Christmas album. 🤣

Temple square was a tradition for us when the kids were little. We live in Texas now...nothing quite like that here.

I do love Christmas music!
I like the CDs that have a mix of singers mostly, but the Carpenters is a wonderful CD.
My friend made me listen to Clay Aiken's Christmas CD & I was surprised at how much I liked it.
My favorite all time Christmas CD is Snowed In by Hanson. It is the most fun Christmas CD EVER.
They also just released a new Christmas CD called Finally It's Christmas. I love it. You should check out these 2 CDs for some new Christmas favorites.
