I must say I was sadly disappointed with QVC on rerunning products for sale as opposed to what they normally did in the past. every Christmas I kind of look forward to seeing what David was up to over the Christmas holidays or just getting to know the different hosts and their traditions etc. it was a nice break from the commercialism that takes place the rest of the year. I was pleasantly surprised to find the gem shopping Network was doing it. they even did a touching tribute to a host that had passed away recently. disappointed in you QVC I hope you make up for it next year.

@LUV STUFF  I've never watched Q on Christmas so it doesn't matter to me personally.

Yes, I watch Gem Shopping for their tribute to Skyler Chung.  He died very young.  And left 3 very young children behind. He was one of their most popular hosts.  He will be missed.

I never watch QVC on Christmas and I don't even celebrate it.  I have off this week and next from school.  So I spent catching up on a lot of stuff at home. They came back live after the holiday though.

@LUV STUFF   Agree!  I still remember one Christmas Eve when Lisa Mason and her husband, Gino, signed off.  QVC was classy then.  I think it's a shame that they just repeat the old stuff and don't even honor the prices that are shown.

I'm sorry I missed the tribute to Sky! I thought it odd that they still had his picture up as a host a few days after he passed so glad they that did.

Gone so, so young. I feel so sorry for his children and his wife.

He had such a calm, nice demeanor and will be missed.

Keep in mind that if they do special programming for one faith based  holiday, they would have to do the same for others.  And then where does it end?   Doing behind the scenes type stuff on an assortment of holidays would seriously cut into QVC's profits.  Like it or not, the bottom line is what QVC is ultimately about.

They haven't shown that kind of programming in several years so I doubt they would go back next year.  Some of those segments were filmed an even longer time ago.

@LUV STUFF Check out David's facebook where he's posted several posts while being home at his mom's for the holiday.  I think he normally is there for part of the week before going to his Florida condo to catch up w/the bros.

There's been very little clothing all year I've been tempted to buy so just because it's on a supposed clearance sale will still not tempt me. I sure hope the clothing options get better in 2024.

A nice break from commercialism from a shopping channel. Ahhhh, okay. I guess it's just me, but when I want a nice break from commercialization I watch something else. Oh, the endless possibilities available anymore!

Having host prattle on about their personal life...I can't reach for that remote quickly enough.
