Have to wonder how she fell onto hard times? Felony theft ? It does not say what class of felony theft she is facing but even class 4 felony that means the value of the property stolen was over $1,000. Surely more details will surface. Has anyone messaged Colleen Lopez at HSN? I believe the duo were friends off screen.

Me too @Oznell ..but for the grace of God, comes to mind

Seems she has had a rough life since she left HSN. It's too bad she fell into a life that consists of crime. I feel bad for her. Wish her all the best.

Her presentation was completely off the wall. At one point she took off her shoes and ran around the set barefooted. Neither she nor her products ever returned.
She did seem a bit whack a doodle when she appeared on Evine.
My guess (at the time) was some kind of drug and yes of course that can lead to the charges she faces if she got in deep and desperate. This is sad to see, she had alot going for her at HSN. I always liked her presentation style.

The charges were from Colorado. She will be extradited there.

Goes to show what bad lighting, no makeup, bad haircut, and menopause will do to you. We have a false reality watching these hosts etc. It’s why i love watching Shawn’s dare to share and her social media.

So sorry to read this about Chris. I watched her for years on HSN. I hope she gets her life back on track. Thanks for posting.

Former HSN host Christine Scanlon arrested in Tallahassee on theft, forgery warrants

A former television shopping host was arrested in Tallahassee on felony warrants out of Colorado.
Christine Scanlon, 59, was arrested as a fugitive from Routt County, Colorado, where she was wanted for felony theft, forgery and tax evasion.
Scanlon was a host on the Home Shopping Network for more than 20 years.
She is being held in the Leon County Detention Facility on $1,000 bond after being arrested at her apartment in Tallahassee.
I hardly recognized her - she looks so much older (at least 20 years) from when she was on TV. Holly cow, was this a shocker.
If this is a mug shot, they're not flattering to anyone ( plus on HSN she was made up to look good). We should show her some kindness, this could happen to anyone of us if we fell on hard times.

I am sorry for her troubles, but I don't think she looks any different other than no make-up and short hair. Makeup and hair make a big difference, that is why we bother to take care

Wow! I knew the name was familiar. I used to watch HSN quite a bit but in the past year, not much at all.
I used to really like her because she seemed kinda 'ditzy' and I like that. It didn't seem put on, she just seemed a little 'scatter brained'. I found it sweet and different.
It shows you a lot of things. One is what a toll that Florida sun will do to your skin if you don't protect it.
It also shows you what make-up does for you. People laugh when they tell me I don't look 72 and I say, "That's because...'I paint it up'". But make-up does wonders.
Who knows what happened to her. I've always read that many people are just one notch away from being homeless, etc. People live day to day and month to month.
Could have been drugs, maybe she got a divorce, who knows? I know someone who's going through a divorce in Florida and their laws are hard on women.
I am just guessing here. That's so sad. Maybe she needs help and maybe now she'll get whatever help she needs.
I'll be thinking about this for a long time now. It sounds like there was no one in her life she could depend on for her.
