Re: Christening Of Prince Louis

this headband (?) reminds me of medieval headdresses - i certainly prefer to those fascinator things or even that beanie that Meghan once wore.

Re: Christening Of Prince Louis

I dislike fascinators, but this head adornment is a regal style, one that befits a queen-in-waiting.

Kate looked very regal today.

The Christening gown is spectacular.  I would love to see that close up.

I'm gonna be angry if Kate doesnt get the Royal Family Order from The Queen....she should have already gotten it

What title is that? IMO I think she should by-pass Charles and go directly to William.

@BettyNewbie From what I've read, there are many people who don't think Kate deserves this honor. She and William have both been called "work shy".

Princess Anne received hers in 1969. Sophie, Countess of Wessex received hers in 2004 (after 5 years of marriage), Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall received hers in 2007 (after 2 years of marriage) and Princess Diana received hers after 1 year of marriage. It's very telling that after 7 years of marriage, Kate has yet to receive the honor.

Kate is at the bottom, or near the bottom of the royals for days worked every year.

The Queen and Prince Philip are not attending. No good photo of Meghan yet, looks like she's wearing sage green. Louis is so cute.

Prince George looks the same but Princess Charlotte is changing.

Everyone looks lovely.

Princess Charlotte is wearing a new "do" that is why she looks different.  I liked her old hair style better.

Kate was absolutely GLOWING today. Can't comment on her dress since you couldn't see too much of it. She looks good in cream and has worn that color for all the kids christenings. I didn't like her hat at all, it looked like something the Queen Mother would wear.

Carole and Pippa. LOVED the color of their dresses. Loved both of their hats. I wasn't crazy about either of their dresses. Carole's was OK, but I didn't like Pippa's.

Camilla looked very nice.

I loved Meghan's dress and the color. I think a pastel shade would've been nicer and would've blended in with the pastel color scheme that seemed to be going on.

I hope they release a family portrait like they did with George's and Charlotte's christenings.

yeah....they lived out of town near a service base for the first few years....and she was pregnant and terribly ill for three years.....giving birth to a future monarch ...she has a full time very important, to the queen by the way, job.

I guess mini curtain pulling is more important
