I watched a bit of Chopped Canada last night for the first time. I didn't even realize that was Dean McDermott!

But in answer to your question, yes Ted Allen is that good and Dean McDermott is that bad! I didn't like the judges either. ${#emotions_dlg.sad}$

Maybe Dean just needs to "gel" as a host or maybe we are just too used to Ted, but I think Ted is better at it too.

Didn't Dean win a celebrity cookoff show on Food Network? Maybe that's how he got the job.

Yes, he did. Haven't seen Chopped Canada, but Ted is a great host. Don't care to see Dean. He used to be good looking, but now he just looks "dirty".

I don't think Dean has the right personality to host a show. Chopped Canada does not hold my attention.

I also only watched one episode for a short time, that was plenty. Dean sure isn't a food show host, it all seemed awkward.

so I caught the show last night.... all I could think of when the camera panned on Dean, was IS HE DRUNK AND HIGH? I never heard what he said as I was trying to see if he was doing the show on drugs... I guess the reality show has not helped his viewer audience see him as a serious host.

Perhaps he would do better in a Po~rn movie or something? ${#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}$

Yes, it was Rachael (Ray) vs. Guy (Fieri) Celebrity Challenge. His competition in the final round was Carnie Wilson. I had no clue "who" Dean was..."Mr." Tori Spelling. ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$
