Wow, yep tears. But a wonderful commercial. My mom died young, and my grandmother outlived her, then went into stages of dementia herself. This was well done! Prayers for further development of vast new treatments. I can see my dad losing tiny bits of memory and it's making me so sad. He is still with us, so I am blessed. I will watch this again,

My BFF sent me a link to this commercial yesterday...it's absolutely beautiful and so well done! I teared up watching it, and that doesn't happen often.
Whoever wrote this definitely has some personal experience to draw on.
I talked to my 91 year old aunt just before watching it, and realized how blessed I am to have never had to deal with this issue in my family.

Absolutely beautiful. A real tear jerker. Made me think of my dear aunt who had Alzheimer's and passed away 2 years ago.

Anyone who's had a loved one with dementia can't help but get emotional watching this commercial. Reminded me of my parents at the end of their lives. Two peas in a pod, never went anywhere without the other. Dad had dementia, mom had strokes that left her partially paralyzed and unable to communicate. Their love still shone through it all. On top of that I love John Denver and am always brought to tears when I hear Sunshine on My Shoulder. An excellent, heartwarming commercial. Thank you for sharing this!!

@SoX Yes, thank you for sharing that. I don't think I ever would have discovered it otherwise since it was over 5 minutes long. We usually don't get TV commercials that long.
Watching it gave me a deja vu of my mom's life. So sad yet beautiful at the same time.

Thanks goes to @Catiele who mentioned it on another thread in the TV and Movies forum.
I thought this deserved a thread of its own. and a wider audience on the Community forum ... thanks again,
Catiele.
