Chesapeake, VA anyone?!

I'm seriously considering a move to Chesapeake from upstate NY. Anyone live there? I'm a senior and my son and I are going to move after he graduates from college. So, I was wondering how the job situation is (for him, he's into the counseling field) as well as how life is for a senior. I heard wonderful things about it, but I wanted to hear from all of you. Thanks.
