@Enufstuff - Your father was a really handsome man.  But I have to say...that photo of him in a teeshirt, with windblown hair...well.  Woman Wink

And clearly so caring of you?  What more could you ask?  You must have so many wonderful memories.

Cherries are in season and we are enjoying those little red juicy fruits.

Cherries in jewelry and in fashion, have always been popular in the Summer months.

When I was three years old, I loved wearing my "Cherry Dress".  It was not a cherry print, but it had cherries on the front of the white collar.

In one picture, I am at the beach with my father and in the other picture, I am holding a

little bag of bird food, to feed the pigeons at Boston Commons. ( I still enjoy feeding all the birds that visit my yard.)

The two dresses that I made for Toni Dolls, are not replicas of my dress, but were inspired

by the memory of my "Cherry Dress".img005jjjj.jpg

@lynnie61   Thank you very much.  Your jumper with cherries    must have been so cute. Cherries have been a popular theme

for many years, on clothing, jewelry and home decor.

I'm happy that you enjoy Toni in her little dresses.

Her beach vacation dresses will be next.

@LuvSoCal   I'm glad that you enjoyed seeing my pictures.

Your must have been so cute in your little red coat.

How wonderful and amazing that you still have the coat.

Have you been back to Paris since then?

For three years, I have been looking for a red

wool, Winter coat. I has to be the right shade of

red and no stand collar or double breasted.

I'll try again this year, eventually I'll find one.

@SportyShorty07   In your family, are you the only child with green eyes? Do you have the same eye color as one of your parents?  Genetics and eye and hair color is so interesting.

My mother was the only one in her family with green eyes.

One of my brothers and one of my daughters inherited green eyes from her. I have read that green is the rarest eye color.

My maternal grandmother was blonde and her mother and two sisters had red hair. When my grandmother had her eight children, they were all blondes, not one red head. I guess that my grandmother did not even carry that gene for red hair.

On another topic, two of my paintings are posted in Home,

under the heading Pinky and Blue Boy, if you would like to see them. I would love to see some of your artwork posted sometime.
