   You must have been adorable with your blonde hair and green eyes.

    Three of my children were born blonde, but their hair darkened

as they got older. Only one daughter had green eyes.

@Enufstuff  That's so nice!  I'm sure your mom was such a beautiful and elegant lady- and you're a very beautiful and elegant lady too Smiley HappyHeart.  Your eye color and hair color is a really pretty combo also. That's interesting how your brothers were blonde and three of your children were blonde. Thank you for your kind words Heart-  I was cute and little in height just like like you were. Smiley Happy  I forgot to mention that your kitchen design, cherry diamond wallpaper and color coordinating trays sound so lovely!

@Enufstuff I really enjoy your old photos. Thanks for posting them. The one of you and the pidgeons reminds me of pictures my parents took of me in Paris. I was wearing a little red coat they bought at a little store there. I still have it hanging in my closet. I was probably 18 months old at the time. BTW, what a handsome man your dad was.

@Enufstuff

Your father could have been a movie star!

And you are just a precious cupcake with your little cherry dress.  Such lovely pictures!  You really were a cutie.

The cherry dresses for your Toni girls are delicious.  I know I've mentioned I adore cherry prints on anything.  Betsy Johnson uses cherries and so does Mary Engelbreit.  Love both of them.

For years, I had a Sweet Romance cherry necklace/bracelet/earring set, but finally donated it.  While it was lovely, I didn't wear it.

Such special memories and dresses.

@Oznell   Thank you very much.

                My oldest daughter and I are research nerds and we both are detail oriented.

              Dream jobs for both of us would be set designers and

wardrobe co-ordinators for movies or theatre.

             Searching for era appropriate furniture, decor and accessories, would be so exciting. I had an antique shop and my children grew up with and learned about antiques.

              Co-ordinating costumes, jewelry and accessories, would be so much fun.

             Back in the 70's I took a semester of Interior Design at

our local college and loved decorating my houses in different

styles, over the decades.

             My girls have been very creative in costuming for different eras. We have had many theme parties that included

dressing in many styles and eras. We have had Victorian tea parties, Asian and Egyptian dinner parties and others.

             The last party was a garden party to celebrate the Centennial of my house, which was built in 1914.

             The planning took a year, researching food, music,

clothing, invitations and gifts for guests. It was like stepping back in time.  It was a lot of work, but such fun.

           Perhaps I will post some pictures from our 1914

party.

Do post those pictures, @Enufstuff -- that party would have been fabulous, having your magical visual touch.  Would love to see!

@PamfromCT    Hi Pam,

        Thank you very much. It is fun, thinking of different style dresses to make. A button, a trim or a fabric, will give me an idea for a new one.

               The cherry dresses and the sundresses that I will post next, were all part of the collection that I made and sold years ago. I did'nt keep any for my dolls. I only have the pictures in files, on my computer.

                That is one reason why I wanted to start sewing again. Plus, I have a stockpile of fabrics, lace and trims.

I started working on a dress for Toni's vacation at her aunt and uncle's farm. I found a really cute fabric that inspired that design.

              At the top of the original posted pictures, I added a couple of better pictures of my father, where his hair is not being windblown, like at the beach.

             I hope that you are well and have been enjoying a little reprieve from the extreme heat and humidity, as we have, this past week.  We expect it to return tomorrow.

             Think cool thoughts and stay cool.

@Venezia    Thank you very much.

                      Above the original pictures, I added a couple more,

   where my father's hair was not windblown, like in the beach picture.

               My mother years ago, gave me a shoebox filled with all

my pictures. Being the first child, they took a lot of pictures of me, when I was little.
