Re: Cherries for Toni

[ Edited ]

@Enufstuff Loving those beautiful dresses you designed and made for Toni dolls.  Your talents and dedication are truly amazing, and I think we all are enjoying your current creations and looking forward to more.

The pictures of you as a little tyke, first with your daddy, and the second feeding the birds, touched my heart.  My, your daddy was handsome, and you were such a darling litle tyke.

Best wishes!

Pam

@Enufstuff - Wonderful photos and dresses for Toni.  You're very talented.

And if that "isn't the best" photo of your father?  He's so handsome in it, I'd love to have seen him in his "best photo"!  You're lucky to have such a lovely reminder of the day.

@Enufstuff   My favorite summer fruit.  Both Toni's are just adorable.  I recall having a jumper that I wore, I bet many of us had white shirts with cherries on the collar.  How adorable.

I'm so glad you have shared a few of your pictures as a toddler. So darling. Nice seeing your father at a young age.  Handsome with his little girl!  Love these photos.  You make so many of us smile, as we are waiting patiently for the next Toni creation.

Thank you!

What precious memories the Toni dolls are sharing with you, through your talent and inspiration. They look as lovely as you did in your own cherry dress. Btw, your dad was a handsome guy.

@SportyShorty07   Thank you so much. I'm happy that you enjoyed seeing the cherry dresses.

When I found those tiny cherry buttons at Joann's, I knew I had to make cherry dresses. Then I found the fabrics.

That is not really the best picture of my father. We always had the sun in our eyes, and shadows, squinting in the sun. He didn't have moustache either. I don't know what that darkness is.

Back in those days, everyone thought that my father looked like the movie actor and dancer, Gene Kelly, and that my mother looked like Joanne Woodward, who was married to Paul Newman.

@Enufstuff  You're welcome, Enuffstuff! I really like your artwork and it is a joy to see it and talk to you Smiley HappyHeart! I love how the tiny cherry buttons at Joann's were the inspiration for these cherry dresses! its amazing that you made both of them and they're both perfect Smiley Happy.

Your dad does look like Gene Kelly! The Gene Kelly/Joanne Woodward combo in your parents must be a stunning combo- no wonder you're such a beauty, Enuffstuff!Heart I smiled at how you said that that wasn't even the best picture of your dad- he's a very handsome man with a great head of hair Smiley Happy In addition to his good looks, he looks to be very loving and happy in that photo and you are such a sweet little girl in the photos! Were you blonde as a little girl? I had hair that was golden blonde as a girl and it darkened up in my teens to what it is now. Lovely photos and lovely Toni creations!

@Enufstuff  Thank you for the extra photos of you and your dad! You are such a sweet and adorable little girl and your dad is so dapper and handsome! I wish that the men of my generation on the dating apps could look that put together, confident, happy and handsome Smiley Happy.  I love the photo of him crouching on the ground to be next to you while you're standing- such a lovely photo of both of you!

@SportyShorty07   My mother was blonde and had green eyes, like you. My two brothers were blondes, but I always had dark hair and eyes, like my father.

You must have been adorable with your blonde hair and green eyes.

Three of my children were born blonde, but their hair darkened

as they got older. Only one daughter had green eyes.
