You ought to see the last name my kids have to spell, 10 letters and 1 vowel ,in the next to the last letter..... my maiden name had 4 letters...Smiley Wink

Dana Perino on Fox wrote a book about her dog Jasper. It really is getting to be a popular name.

With regard to a long last name, I like when folks proudly own their last name, even when it’s long and difficult to spell.

 

My maiden name was constantly spelled and pronounced incorrectly. When I married I left that behind. If I were to do it again, I’d keep my maiden name or hyphenate. My maiden name indicates my true ancestry and I love that.
