I love their Godiva cheesecake.  It's so delicous with a cup of coffee.

That is my daughters favorite one. I haven't had that one. Believe it or not, over the years I start to like chocolate less and less for some reason.

We don't have a cheesecake factory anywhere near here, but one moved into my hometown a couple years ago.  When I visit my mother, we go for lunch.  She always seems to talk me into ordering a piece of cheesecake.

I think it should be a mandate that if you dine there you must get a cheesecake. I don't think I have ever been there to eat and not ordered one. That is the main reason I go. lol!

Re: Cheesecake Factory cheesecake

I have a recipe for cheesecake that I always make.  It has cream cheese and sour cream.  It's very creamy.  That's what I love best.

It's my mother's recipe.  She got it from one of her aunts that worked for an Italian restaurant.  It's a very old recipe.  I have the recipe card she wrote out.  It's so funny to see her handwriting now...

About 6 months after turning 45 my eyesight really started to give me trouble. Only with reading small print but I just turned 46 and I really need to go get glasses! I see so many cute frames I love but I do need to get in to see a dr. I think I will only need them when I read.

Re: Cheesecake Factory cheesecake

Just don't get the bright idea of ordering a Cheesecake Factory cheesecake online.  They are now made and shipped by Harry & David.  They're expensive, very small and not good.

They just opened a CF restaurant here but I haven't been there yet.

I didn't know you could order one online. Now, I have gotten them at Costco before (both original and pumpkin) and they were both excellent. I also didn't realize Harry and David sold CF cheesecake either.

Hey Beachy1! A few years ago I cut out what is supposed to be the original CF cheesecake recipe. I have meant to make it but just never got around to it. All the reviews were very positive and said it tasted exactly like CF. I should try it someday. It has cream cheese and sour cream as well.

Also, I love all the old recipes that are handwritten by my grandmother. My mother is still alive but she has many recipes handwritten down. I know I will cherish those!
