For those who enjoy or find it necessary to shop online, check out www.thefoundary.com. (Yes, you do have to sign up to access the site.) You'll find several categories of items on special every day. Especially notable are contemporary items or re-designs of older items, as well as antiques once in a while.

Today they're offering seasonal crockery. If I had a need for it, I sure would be purchasing sever of the pumpkin items, as I love pumpkin stuff. Further on down the same page is contemporary plateware that would be great in my home.

This is just one of several categories of goods on 2 day sales, which is the way The Foundary runs their site. I've ordered a much-needed cake plate, $19.00 glass with gold band, but haven't received it yet. Can't speak to quality, but really do like some of their stuff.
