I just put a large can of garbanzo beans (hot and spicy) in the oven. We love to snack on them every time we pass the island where they are in a bowl..... Nice and crunchy...

Too many to mention.
On the television show front, I, too, like Ressurection but my current obsession, that I'm waiting to see if it gets renewed, is Revolution.

Lately I'm getting a chuckle over the media obsession of Stephen Colbert as David Letterman's replacement on ""Late Show"". He's just a comedian for goodness sakes.

I bought some steer manure but when I went online it was pointed out that the antibiotics in the feed might be present in the manure. So I just put the manure in my yard and bought organic compost to put in my garden. This is my third year and it just gets better. I bought starter plants as follow: Early girl tomato, sungold tomato, better boy tomato. lemon cucumber, zucchini, japanese eggplant and thyme. I will also plant yellow squash and greens. I love having a garden and knowing exactly what went into it.
Beautiful! I don't have a place for a garden now, but I grew up with one. My stepfather was always had a garden. We had a big lot, so it was a big garden and he sold the excess. He was determined that I know how to garden, LOL, so I learned all about it.
A lot of the same people came back every year and bought the excess produce so I also learned how to count money, selling watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, beans, squash, cukes, etc. This was in the 60's and I remember most of the watermelons were 50 cents

I have heard of that, but never tried it. I can't do hot and spicy. Is there a milder way to season them?

I have not watched Revolution. Resurrection really has my interest. I can't wait to see what happens next.

It will be interesting to see how Colbert handles a more serious talk show.
Question also to Tansy as well as Deep- Do you think the media will be all a twitter about the change for the whole year?
