Oh yes, I certainly remember them. Sorry, I don't know where to get the containers for them. If you can find them, the rest will be easy. Wonder if you searched Brooklyn Italian Bakeries you might find some help?

    OMG!! I grew up in Brooklyn eating them. I loved Charlotte Russe.My Grandma used to buy me Charlotte Russe & Jelly doughnuts every week. 
   Thanks for the memory. I haven't thought about it in forever!!

@Queen of shop  - I just Googled "Charlotte Russe Recipe on The Great British Baking Show." I remembered the show had an episode with this dessert. There are recipes and a video also.
