I'm not a big country music fan but did like The Devil Went Down to GA song and admired greatly his skill with the fiddle.

Here's Charlie Daniels being funky -- different sound for him on this 1966 hit "Black Olives."  Charlie plays bass on this.  He produced and arranged it along with someone name "R. Allen."

I actually cried over this a few times yesterday. I just felt so sad about it. Today on Twitter someone is taking over his account and posting things he always did! It felt like he was there.
