They did get the death penalty after they were found guilty & were on death row, then the state of California overturned the death penalty in 1972 & their sentences were commuted to life. Too bad they can't put him back on death row........

I could see why she's soooooo attracted to him!!!! He's good-looking, has a great smile, gentle voice, he could buy her lots of stuff --- and he has a swastika on his forehead. She has great taste.

You're 100% correct, aubnwa01. Manson was lucky enough to fall into that repeal of the death penalty, which has now been reinstated in CA.

But, once someone gets taken off, they can't be put back on just because the law has changed. So...it can work in the favor of a murderer like him... but it can never work against someone who has been removed from death row.
