Re: Changing tastes as we age

I am craving simplicity in clothes, home decor, food  beauty and health routines.

I still want everthing to look nice but just not so much of everything.

I used to be so "high maintenance" lol

When I became a care giver for my mom (RIP) my priorities changed so much.

It was so overwhelming cleaning out our apartment I never want to own that much stuff again.

QVC could have done a weeks worth of shows from our house.

It was pretty but just too much!

Yes, I've noticed the changes.  Must be hormonal or something like that.

Re: Changing tastes as we age

Yes, I have noticed some things.

When I was a kid, I hated cantaloupe, seafood, and Chinese food.

As an adult I love all of those!

Twenty odd years ago, I traveled the globe for work and for fun.

Now I dislike traveling, except for one or two day road trips.

I used to LOVE being in big cities, crowds, etc.

Now I love the small town island life.  I get just enough excitement when the tourists are here in the summer.

Those are some changes I've noticed.  Smiley Happy

Interesting to read the various ways people have changed over the years. More simple and minimal are what I noticed most.
