Change in Posting Photos from iPad

Last night I updated my iPad to 17.1.1. This morning when I posted the photos about the seasons change, a step was not necessary. I selected the photo to post, but the print at the bottom that said "Actual Size" was missing. Before we had to tap it and select, Small, Medium, or Large. Apparently the update is taking care of that step. I did not know if it would work, but I just followed the commands to post the photo without adjusting the size. It worked!

Hopefully this will help the ones who have been struggling. This was the step that took me a while to realize was blocking my photos. Happy posting everyone!

Interesting. Selecting a photo size has never blocked my posting a photo on my iPad. Have no clue what could be different between our devices.

@On It. If you don't change it, the photos have always come out as "large". It's only necessary to change them if you want small or medium.

Huh. I've updated my iPad too, and I notice no difference for posting photos.

@Kachina624 Mine said "too large to post" if I did not change the actual size. That took me a while to discover the problem. With the upgrade, it adjusts the photo automatically.

@On It. I never had that problem but I don't use an iPad.

I just found another change in sending a text. The icons were there for camera and photo. They have been replaced with a plus sign. Tap that and a box opens with about six choices. I was sending my son the mountain photo. I selected photos, and it was easy.

These upgrades are good ones for me. My iPad is about 4 years old. I have a new one still in the box. I am waiting to let my son set it up. I could do it, but he will do it correctly with no grinding of teeth.

It sounds like you may have missed an update or two. That texting change happened in a previous update.
