Cell Phone Plans

We are thinking of giving up our land line phone and going with a family plan cell phone. Right now I only have a prepaid cell phone that I rarely use. My teen Daughter has a text only plan that isn't working out for her, she usually ends up making calls too and then her bill goes way over. My Husband has a work cell phone, but not a personal phone. And my college son has a cell phone with his own plan and seems pretty happy.

In October we plan to get rid of our cable bundle. Getting rid of cable tv and then maybe the phone and internet as well. Then just finding an internet provider.

What are some good plans out there? I know nothing about plans and how family plans work!

And getting rid of a land line seems pretty daunting, but my MIL just did it and it seems like the new trend.

And tips or info?
