Re: Cats Have A Reputation. Is It True?

Saw this card saying,:

If cats could talk, they wouldn't!

i like that cats are independent.  They do what they want when they want and just really need you for food and a few cuddles.

My darling Raina can hear me pick up her food bowl and come meowing at me to put it down.....so possessive of even her water bowl.  Who knew.  Cats are something else.  I swear she knows food is coming when the doorbell rings LOL..........

They are special.   Over the span of my long life I halve been owned by many cats of all breeds and stripes and markings and not one had the same personality.  All so unique and beautiful.  They are never boring - even when they're sleeping.    And yes they are independent but I don't agree they only need us for food or to be their servants.  I always loved how they gave me space and yet when I sat or laid down, they would come and crawl up beside me to let me know how much they loved me.

And I love dogs too.  Such a different experience and the way they respond to you as opposed to cats.   Neither one is better, just different

Our last kitty would only eat dry food...she knew the difference between the sound of her food being poured into her bowl and the sound of dry cereal being poured....never showed up for the cereal, but never missed the sound of her own food. Cats are so smart!

When I had a cat, it was the can opener.  I guess the pop top is the latest incarnation.
