My new cat is driving my older one away from her food. Over a year ago I started my only cat then on wet food for it didn't seem she was eating much of her dry. Last month I took home a "feral" or homeless cat I saw on my walk around an outside mall. My older cat goes away from the food when the young one comes around. I have tried two dishes. The dry food is always out for them. I could take the young one out and put her in another room when I take out their food for she is always underfoot and waiting. Otherwise they are still ignoring each other pretty much.
