So, I guess the kitties are wondering if humans are mimicking them, with the flexibility & stretching Smiley Happy

I thought this was a cute article and as a kitty-cat lover, pretty spot on about the observations of cats

To my surprise, the cats were largely non-interactive during the 45-minute class, choosing to sit on the sidelines and stare at us with what looked like concern and awe, instead of climbing on the mats or our bodies. (As a cat person, I really wanted one to pounce on my back in tabletop position, but in true cat fashion, they never quite do want you want them to, do they?)

What a fabulous idea!  I wish there was a Cat Yoga Cafe in my neighborhood.

Haha ... That's what my daughter said when she saw this.  I'd be busy trying to play with cats and wouldn't do the yoga.

Fate whispers to her, "You cannot withstand the storm." She whispers back, "I am the storm."

Biancardi - that cat is looking at the photographer like "get me out of here, now"

Re: Cat Yoga Cafe!

[ Edited ]

Many animals - but especially cats, as they're so "bendy" - naturally  do yoga.

In fact, there are cute calendars available showing 'coga' (cat yoga), 'doga' (dog yoga), 'koga' (kitten yoga), and 'poga' (puppy yoga).

Just Google to check them out.

Thanks for the enjoyable positive thread, B. :cattongue:
