When Jeff Ashton, the prosecutor, was giving the closing arguments, Casey was in tears, more tears than I can recall in this whole trial. She almost looked like she was going to lose it. But, when defense attorney, Jose Baez defended her in his closing arguments, she really didn't show that level of emotion.
To me... and this is my opinion, Mr. Ashton hit Casey with the truth and she reacted to having it air out like that. She sure didn't show much emotion when her lawyer was defending her. I don't know, but when you are caught in a lie and someone reveals what happened, most often people crack under the pressure. She sure seemed very emotional and upset when he was stating the prosecution's side of the case.
We'll have to see what happens tomorrow morning in the rebuttal.
