Have you had a recent experience selling your vehicle to them?  What is your opinion on your price offer?

We sold them our 2015 Equinox, 75,000 mile and no accidents. great shape. Back in June. We were very happy with our offer. Much better than trade in and didn't want to deal with selling pvt.ly. The whole transaction only took a couple of days from start to finish. we had them pick up.  We'd do it again and have recommended to friends.

@10sluvr Thank you for sharing your experience.  I feel better knowing someone who dealt with them.  It was my son's vehicle and he LOVED it.  He passed 1.5 year ago under horrible circumstances.  I couldn't even sit in it without breaking up.  I don't want to have to deal with private buyers.  Don't want it sitting thru another winter either.  I had to put $2,000 in it because a mouse get under the hood and chewed up the wires.  It's breaking my heart but so is seeing it sitting in my driveway.  It's a beautiful car.  Never saw a winter ... he lived in Arizona.  It was all i had left of him.  Smiley Sad

I, personally, haven't used them but I've read both good and bad things.

My mom passed at the end of August and I just finished the transaction to sell her car to a dealership yesterday.  They offered the higher end of Bluebook's value for selling to a dealership or a trade-in.  We could have received a few thousand more if it would have been a private sale but I also didn't want to mess with that unless it was someone I knew so I went ahead and sold it.

I was going to try Carvana next.

Good luck!

I sold my hubby's Cadillac to them in 1/24.  He had passed away a year before.  It was a 2011 CTS.  They had good reviews.  They gave me the best price and the process could not have been easier.  I did everything online then they came to my house for the car, we did the title transfer, they gave me a check.  Easy peasy.  I didn't want people coming to my house to see it.  And the dealership where we bought it gave me the lowest price.  After I sold it my next door neighbors sold their truck to Carvana.

@rms1954  So sorry about your son - that's heartbreaking.  I totally get it about the car.  My husband loved his Cadillac and I hated to sell it.  But it was older and getting older every year.  It was in great shape.  I was kind of saving it for my grandson but ultimatley decided he'd be better with something newer and safer.  And please don't think your son's car was all you had left of him.  He'll always be with you.  (((HUGS)))

Carvana bought two vehicles from us. The offer was greater than the trade-in from the dealer and it was quick and easy.

Buyer beware! I tried to sell a car to Carvana and they offered me $1500. I went to the dealer where I bought it and they paid me $6,000 for it.

Mu husbands friend sold his wifes car to Carvana .  He knows a lot about cars and has sold to other places and on his own as well.  Carvana has negotiated with him in the past, but last time would not.  He took their offer because he was moving and wanted to sell it quickly.
