There's no cure for stupid. That's the only explanation for this company's decision to fire Carolyn Gracie. She was perfect in weight and age for the Q's demographic. She was thoroughly professional, great at explaining the product and making suggestions for wear, but also warm and pleasant. I'm an XS, but seeing her model an Isaac jacket got me to buy it. More young, twinkie saleswomen? They don't work for me....

Your last paragraph and your CHRO friend's opinion: Well, I guess the Q is hawking the hearing aides so the grannies can hear the fast talking youngsters sell them those easy rider scooters to ride off into the sunset all while staying dry in those peepee panties that were the tsv the other day.

BTW, after being a customer since the beginning, even before it was called QVC and spending tens of thousands of dollars, I won’t BUY anything else from any of quarate’s entities..don’t care what mrwilkesexec (or whatever he calls himself) says.

But I will continue to stop by these forums…it’s kinda entertaining…

Totally outraged that they were fired when others were recently hired. Makes no sense. Sounds like age discrimination to me. Carolyn, miss you so much. You were the best host in every way. No one does it like you, especially with Gary in denim& co. Probably a favor in disincentive they did not appreciate you. Wish you everything good you wish for yourself, much love, Diane

Meant to say favor in disguise. Have to say that she did a much better job than most of the other hosts, she has a super personality and knowledge, very caring and not pushy, which I really dislike from other hosts, many of whom I wouldn’t mind if they left. QVC made a major mistake and I will be watching and buying less for the way you treat your employees. Best wishes to all who lost the jobs, disgusting!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️plus to Carolyn

Totally agree plus several more, including most of the new ones. QVC recently hired a bunch of new hosts so it doesn't make sense that they were really laying off for cost reasons. Too bad they didn't lay off based on seniority.

It's not true they both have other interests that they can fall back on. The one I believe they should of let go is Jane. She is so annoying and rude she don't let guests speak she always interrupts them I don't really get tired of hearing about a girls more power to her girls but I don't think I need to hear all the time but yes Carol and Dan have other interests and they will be missed.
