Treated myself! A281481 Clarks Artisan Riding Boots! Words shall never do justice. Which brings me to my tender loving care. Treated with high quality spray before wearing, Each time after wearing clean entire boot including the bottom air dry. Then place the foot form and shaft form back, Cover with tissue paper in the box. FYI presentation for this boot top shelf. Smile place box on shelf. Point of this post! Do you enjoy caring for your fashions? If so what is your most precious of all you own?💁

I'm so happy you love your boots, they sound great. Honestly, I don't have the time or energy to do all that with boots. There's no need to do that with boots, they are meant to be worn and who the heck stores boots away in a box in the middle of winter? Aren't you going to wear them again in a day or two? I go through all that when I put my boots away at the end of winter. When I know I won't be wearing them again. But on a daily basis, I wipe the grime off with a baby wipe I stick my own boot form in and I put them back in my closet. Boots are my thing, I have many many pairs. Also I use empty one liter soda bottles in my boots to keep them from flopping over.

I would not put the boots back in the box.

I have boot bags that I bought on Amazon that I use to store my leather boots in over the summer. I put them in the basement where it is cool in the summer.

No I don't find it time consuming, Takes me 15minutes. Enjoy caring for my belongings. Own vintage D&B and Coach TIG over 20yrs old that are in mint condition. Same with Jones of New York Cashmere Coat. List could go on and on. The gift caring for my precious items.

I take care of all my Clark leather shoes & leather boots like you describe.

It's so worth it They will look like new for DECADES.

If people want throw-away-footwear, then you can buy cheap, wear & throw back in the closet. But good quality leather footwear deserves to be treated well.

It's ok to put back in the box if you are sure they are well dried out, inside & out.

I don't wear the same shoes/boots 2 days in a row, if I can help it.

Pretty boots, but I would never spend that kind of money on boots that can't really do what I want boots to do. Also, 15 minutes to clean them up and stow them? Not in my life. I have various Sporto boots, Vionic and BearPaw. The Sporto I don't need to treat, but the Vionic I do and they get retreated as necessary. I know these style boots are probably not your thing, but they are mine. They take minimal care and look good year in and year out, from storm to storm. I have one pair of Sporto's that are going on 12 years now, still looks great and are still comfy AND waterproof!
