Apparently of a heart attack. Cardinal Dolan is the current Archbishop of the Archdiocese of NYC.

I know some people who knew him well and said he practiced what he preached. He was involved in a number of charities and a very kind man. May he rest in peace.....

I had the honor of hearing him speak once at St. Agnes' (RVC). A holy and inspirational man. May he rest in peace.
