I been getting these calls for a while now, but in the last two days, I recieved 3, 2 in the last hour. One from Clearwater and one from Vegas.

If your not familiar, they start out with "We are calling concerning your credit cards. Don't worry, nothing is wrong, but if you want to lower your interest rates to 4% press 1 to talk to a rep or..... and this was added yesterday......press 3 to be removed from their calls. I think this started a full court press.

Yesterday I pressed three, today, I waited to talk to a rep, and I POLITELY started to ask "Roy" to take me off their call list, and of course, he immediately hung up on me.

Next I googled them. There is a Facebook page for people who are being irritated by these folks. So, I called the Attorney General of Ohio and filed a complaint. They gave me a case number and a bunch of lame excuses and referred me to the FTC. I called the FTC. They took the complaint and gave me a case number and referred me to the Consumer Complaint Division of Ohio, along with even more lame excuses than I heard from the Ohio agency. Well, now I'm irritated with both of these agenies, along with Card Holder Services. If the Feds can't stop them, WELLLLLLLLL............I guess I'm Sxxxxxx.

Yes, I'm on the Do Not Call list, but as both agencies told me, these companies don't really give a hoot about some stinkin do not call list. No, I do not make a habit of giving out my phone number. No, I have not given Card Holder Services any info. Both agencies told me they are probably pfishing for info. Yes, I'm going to stop answering any call that might look like it is from Card Holder Services, but they seem to have numbers from different cities and will use them. I would think, that after all these rejections, they would just drop me from their lists.

SO, does anybody else get these calls? and have you been successful in stopping them?
