@bri20 So did we! What did you get? We got a Ford Escape. My ds had to get a new one as his other "new" one was totaled by an unlicensed driver! No one was injured, thank God, but he loved his Taurus and couldn't afford another! Now he has a Fusion he loves!

@Annabellethecat66 I only want an Suv or cross over as I love a rear wiper! I do the same with my ds! I tell him what I want, he knows the cars, lets me try a few, when I decide I like it, he finds one! Done!

Never underestimate the power of kindness.

@Imadickens That's exactly like my late husband and I used to do and now that is exactly what my son-in-law does.  I drove a Lexus because my daughter wanted me to but I always knew I wanted another Acura.  I loved my old Acura.  I could have gotten any car I wanted.  I've driven a lot of cars when my late husband had a dealer's license, he'd bring home every kind of brand new car.  I hated the Mercedes, BMW.

Anyway, I never cared much about color as long as it isn't real red.

You sound a lot like me!

@Annabellethecat66 I loved my Volvo cross country's! The new ones are out of sight, and good used ones are hard to find! I found a few but when my ds rattled off the features I could get in a new Escape, I couldn't pass it up! I have a heated steering wheel! Oh, I don't mind red, it's blue cars I don't want again!(our first ten cars were blue!)

Never underestimate the power of kindness.
