I'm sure the moms, dads, husbands, wives and children of the sailors on that ship are eternally grateful to Capain Crozier for valuing their lives over his own career. I am grateful too.

Wishing best of luck to Captain Crozier. I'm proud of you.

I send the very best wishes for health, recovery, and good future to this man who had the courage, and decency to speak up on behalf of these human beings who volunteered to serve our country.
He clearly has the understanding, which is sadly lacking elsewhere in the chain, that left unchecked, this disease increases exponentially, with positive cases doubling about every 2.3 days.
Salute Captain Cozier! ⭐️

If the captain had not called attention to the impending disaster on the ship, lives would have been lost. Rules and regulations become absurd when they supercede human life.

I agree. I hope and pray he recovers. And I admire him.

@saltysails It was on the nightly news long before he wrote the letter.
I heard a distinguished citizen this morning say he should be commended.

I am so sorry to hear this. Prayers for his recovery.
As for the way he was treated.......disgraceful!!!
As Captain of the vessel, it was his duty to protect his crew, which is exactly what he did. Perhaps the "chain of command" did nothing to help.

HE was looking out for the health of his crew, the idots are those that punished him,and agree that was correct.

I'm betting that Captain Crosier may have a shortened career but that (at a minimum) he will pick up a "talking head" gig at one of the networks. He did the right thing.

Wow I see him as a hero, I am concerned about the men on that ship.
