This seems impossible!  I've tried everything with no luck.  They respond but don't answer how to cancel.  So frustrating.  Has anyone tried to cancel their PBS streaming?

Re: Cancelling PBS Passport

[ Edited ]

@Biftu - I have Passport, but that's because I'm a PBS Evergreen member.

How do you pay for it?  Have you tried just cancelling your payment method?

Just to add, I googled it and found this:

"Passport is a membership benefit provided by your local station. For security purposes, only your station has access to your membership information and billing.

Because memberships are retained at a local level, you must email or call your local station in order to cancel your Passport membership benefit. Most stations have a way to update your information or contact them at their website, so we suggest looking at your local station's website for more information. You can also use the below link to find contact information for your station to email or call them with."

Obviously, I couldn't post the link with this, but you should be able to find it like I did.  I just put "Cancelling PBS Passport" in the search engine.

Thanks @Venezia  tried everything and nothing worked.  Finally made a phone call and was able to cancel.  Talking to a person surely helped.  Guess I overreacted.

Why would you want to cancel?? This is a benefit for contributing to PBS. If you don’t want access, log out!! I love having access to the shows.

@lcubedsudbury  I find I never streams the shows. I will still contibute annually without having the monthly charge.  That is why.

I use Paypal to pay for my subscriptions if I don't add them to Prime.

I can delete them from Paypal so they cannot come back to charge me if I can't find a way to cancel.

I never heard of PBS charging for Passport. Your station must want the money.
