I tried several times (speed buy/cart) to order a pair of sketchers today and a note popped up that said "can't ship to this address."

Never had this happen to me. I have ordered countless times on .com and I can't imagine why. Live near a large Midwestern city, no P.O. Box, not Alaska or Hawaii.

Anyone?

I had that happen a while back and it was suggested I change my browser. I did, and it worked. Try that.

@zitawins It's happened to me before but I waited an hour or so and tried again. It usually works. However, I live in California where we have the strictist laws regarding products made with some chemicals the state feels unsafe. Most things we have shipped to CA have a label attached stating:

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. 

If the manufacturer does not include this label it cannot be shipped to us. It can be frustrating as many items are fine. Many companies just attach it to everything shipped to California to avoid a problem. 

Perhaps your state may have this in place but more likely, you just need to try again later.

Had this happen about 2 hours ago. I live in Florida and have ordered from Skechers before, no problem. Called CS and order went rhrough. Don't understand.

@zitawins I've gotten that message before when an item was available but then sold out before I was able to complete the order.

I as well.  It was in my cart, but when I tried to check out....it kept saying can't ship to me.

When I called, I was told the item was not available and was sold out....and that reply was a system glitch.

@cjm61   Hi fellow Californian.   I know I have experienced the same problem with some products.   I've missed out on some things because of that restriction.   Oh well

I live in California. Two items that I attempted to order , were not able to be shipped to me bacause of laws in California concerning LEAD. One item was a Charlie Bear,,it has a metal trinket around the bears neck,,the other item was an Irish Sweater  which had a metal zipper,which contained a tiny fraction of lead in the zipper,,so neither was allowed to ship to me, thus could not purchase. I emaile Aran sweater co in Ireland, and they responded to my email. about the lead content. . Also emailed Charlie Bears ..all they said if it says cant ship , they cannot do anything about it. so there you have it.
