I’m in inertia. NYC is swampy ugh, disgusting. Arthritis hurts like hell along with pinched nerves( 5 in neck).

Cleaned house, only ac in bedroom, and now I’m relaxing.

Hope all of you stay as cool 😎 as possible.

Well we can handle the cold, ice and snow so we are semi- tough.

We had 100 degree heat yesterday and expected again today. i was so exhausted yesterday that I just couldn't function. I crawled the stairs to the bedroom last night at 10pm and totally forgot to turn off the outside water. So the sprinkler ran all night. I woke up suddenly this morning realizing the water was on. Oh cwap, that water bill is gonna be a stinker.

@Moonchild2 I'm glad, too. My brain says I'm going to do this and this and this and my body says "you're going to do what???, I don't think so". Went to the Dr and nothing wrong. I guess I'm just old and bored.

It's raining hard here, all morning and that brought the temp down to a balmy 84. I've been wearing my hair in a high ponytail or topknot since the heat wave hit. A blow out would be pointless, it wouldn't last long. I need my color done but wearing it up the gray roots don't show. Perhaps I'll get my hair done and a mani/pedi next week if the weather is in the 80's.

I can take the prolonged high temps it is the high dew point and humidity coupled with no breeze at that knocks me down. Even being in the shade you can't get away from the dew point/humidity.

The air has been oppressive the last several days, and I got my outside work done late this morning, mowing and weeding. I was drenched. Had a shower and some lunch and now I'm just sitting. So glad the air is working. I have a few friends who have no air condish and I don't know how they stand it. I remember what that was like, not having any air condish until I was over 40.

Now the sky is looking like the storm is moving in and we're going to cool off to the low 80[s.

I've been feeling the exact same way. Heat and humidity just miserable. Hoping to finally be able to get out for a long walk tonight. And in the lower temps and humidity this weekend too.

I feel for ya! I'm the same in the heat. At least we have arid heat (usually the humidity is in the teens or less here, with heat, unless it's going to rain/snow).

But I just cannot take heat, even if it's over 60, anymore and it really drags me down. I am usually the opposite of everybody else - heat/sunny kills me but cool/cold/dreary gives me energy.

Been sick a lot lately, so that's making it even worse. If it were cold weather I could probably even handle the illnesses better too! blech - is it winter yet???
