Re: Can't find Tone soap in stores ???

I saw Tone soap at WM a few weeks ago...but don't recall if it was bar or a bottle of handsoap. They aren't selling as much bar soap as they used to...I have to go to $ tree to find Yardley English Lavender bar soap. I have kept one in my undie drawer for years.

If something becomes hard to find it's best to buy more than one when you find it....and you can assume it will cost more if you wait to buy it again.

I quit buying The Dial hand soap, the price kept going up,

switched to the Gold Dial  bar soap, so much cheaper.

Re: Can't find Tone soap in stores ???

DH uses Basis bar soap at the recommendation of his derm. He had radiation after cancer surgery and it seems his skin is now sensitive all over his body. I tried using another scent-free, dye-free soap and it didn't help. Basis is expensive compared to other bar soaps but it works for him. Some of the bar soaps disappeared since they are very unsanitary to share from a soap dish. Same thing for ground coffee in bags. The selection is less and less; it's mostly k cups now.

The only soap I use is Ivory soap.  It has no scent and does not leave a residue on my skin when I rinse with water.

Yardley makes a cocoa butter soap that is unisex. Try checking Dollar Tree, Walgreens, or Amazon. It is usually just a dollar or so a bar.

I love Yardley lavender. I switched to bar soap too. Even to wash hands in the sink. Smells nice in the room. Amazon has the cocoa butter Yardley for 99¢. Try it.

We love and use Yardley Oatmeal and Almond, but if they stopped making that I would use Beekman bar soap, which I have tried and really like as well.....Its just more expensive. I also like Dove. Try Walmart as others have sugessted and also google and see where else they may sell it near you....

Have any of you tried Dr. Bronner's bar soaps?

Or Caress?  We used that one a long time ago.
