Re: Can't find Tone soap in stores ???

@PilatesLover I just googled the soap out of curiousity and see that amazon does have it, but for a better price than you mentioned in your original post - prices on A can jump around from day to day.  Right now I see you can get a pack of 6 for 19.99 - 19 or so left in stock.  That would be the best price they have right now. Still too much?

Reminds me of my late Mom, she had a yellow bathroom with yellow tub and sink, from the 60's, so she always used Tone soap to match!!!

That reminds me, what my mother use to use Lux bar soap, the white bar and Odorono Roll on deodorant.

If a product you love is discontinued, be it bar soap, food product, fabric softener ( e.g., Final Touch ), go to Ollie's in store or on line and be delighted if it's there.  Stock up as they do not inflate the price.

I just can't use Ivory soap since I saw the film on top of the bathwater it leaves when using it. Yuck! I guess if you are showering and rinse really well it works for you.

Re: Can't find Tone soap in stores ???

I also have been using Tone soap for decades. My grandmother, who died in 1996, used to give me 20 bars a year as a Christmas gift. I continued to buy it myself, but I have used up most of my stash. I cannot use much of anything else. My dermatologist is surprised that I break out from so- called soap for sensitive skin.

Interestingly, I discovered that I can use the Beekman large bars of soap. (I received a few bars in with other Beekman products I bought.)   I have resorted to that lately. The bars I have are large and have no fragrance. At least I developed no rash or extra flakiness from them.

I forgot to mention that I do not take baths I only take showers.  Ivory is the only soap that works for me.  I have tried others but they leave a residue on my skin.  I also cannot handle soaps with fragrance.  The fragrance irritates my skin.

We love and use Yardley Oatmeal and Almond, but if they stopped making that I would use Beekman bar soap, which I have tried and really like as well.....Its just more expensive. I also like Dove. Try Walmart as others have sugessted and also google and see where else they may sell it near you....

Oh, me too!   I used to pay a buck for it at the 99 Cents Stores, but now the price jumped to an astronomical $1.29 a bar!  Horrors!  lol  Woman LOL

Maybe next time I'm there, I'll pick up several bars.
