I just tracked a package that I knew a few days ago had been at UPS less than 10 miles from my PO. The most recent update - it had been delivered to the wrong post office.
Fortunately I have no immediate need for that package, and might not even have checked the tracking if I hadn't seen the PO truck pull away from the mailbox box bank as I sat down at my desk.

@millieshops Could easily have been the fault of our good friend, Newgistics. They deliver between ups and the USPS locations and screw up a large part of what they do. Then they falsify the tracking.

@Kachina624 Could be. All I know is that UPS around here seems to be on greater overwhelm than our PO.
For my own bottom line as well as for a contribution to our environment, I am shopping less and less, but still spending the vast percentage of my funds locally.

That sounds like Newgistics is the problem. This company picks up packages at UPS facilities, then delivers to our post offices.
Maybe, you can partially blame USPS. I knew USPS or UPS was using this company, but couldn't find out which one. Additional research found out it's USPS who is using Newgistics as a "shipping partner."
If you wonder about a delay, where your package is, look to Newgistics. If you can't figure out what's going on with your tracking...it doesn't make sense, look at Newgistics.
They masquerade as USPS and UPS on tracking. Sometimes they phrase notifications as if they delivered to your post office when our packages are still at their facilities.
They lie. One of the most incompetent companies I have ever seen.
Track yout package on Ship24.com. You might see Newgistics listed as one of the shippers.

@Foxxee Thanks to you and @Kachina24, I now know more about Newgistics. Fortunately, I have not so far encountered any highly unreasonable delays beyond the original QVC estimates.
Prior to this year, one package arrived one day late - nationwide delays because of heavy snows although not here in southern Florida. This year one package arrived 2 days after the estimate, and I still expect both of my recent purchases to arrived within their original estimated dates. Fortunately for me, I didn't directly pay the postage and I don't need either item today!
