So many people think CP cooking is chicken with a can of soup. It's what you want it to be, and if you want haute cuisine, Williams-Sonoma has a cookbook for that

ps Since I am a Williams-Sonoma fan, let me be the first to tell y'all that old Chuck is having a birthday celebration this week.
He will be 99 years old!
They are recreating his first store, just as it used to be, near the town square in one of my favorite towns, Sonoma, California.
Part of the town square, I love being there

So now you get what the war of that thread was about. One side the lazy soup crockpot people, the other side the righteous made from scratch slave over stove/oven (because it's healthier) people. The crockpot with soup over drive thru point was made over and over again, but fell on deaf ears, and reply to that theory usually came with a personal attack of lazy and unhealthy comment.
oh geeze..........BUT..........even for those who think using a crock pot is the lazy gals way out.......let me point out a few things..........some cuts of meat require they be cooked low and slow to get something that is tender...throw a brisket in a fry pan or on the grill and try to chew you're way through it..........a crock pot cooks low and slow, making it a perfect choice for some cuts of meat..........also grilling meat isn't healthy, its quick, its fast but it isn't healthy......with a crock pot you control what goes in it and how much.........for busy days it's the one sure way to make sure your family has a healthy meal.........so for the crock pot haters.........phffffffffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttttt.....................................raven

For people like me who are too lazy to open a can.
But you still have to open it. Too much work.
