This isn't the only explosion that has occurred due to the flammable gases inside aerosol cans.
Summer heat....plus hot cars....plus aerosol cans do not mix.

Another dangerous thing is lighters on the dashboard of a tightly shut car. They are about as strong/powerful as a stick of dynamite, from what someone told me

A lot of people keep dry shampoo in the car and use it at the gym.
I never thought about it exploding...

I read the article about this explosion and even saw the pics...thank goodness no one was hurt as this could have been much worse if the owner was sitting in the car or even driving when the explosion occurred.

I think many people, especially the generations that have grown up with all kinds of safety features I never had as a kid, are thinking that dangerous things have somehow been engineered out of everyday items. It just doesn't register that something could go wrong. All those warning labels are often in obsure places and small print. Recipe for misuse and disaster.
