I posted here last week that my son and his long term girlfriend broke up a few weeks ago. He is devasted, and found out that she is cheating on him. He tries calling her but she does not respond. I told him to stop, and move on with his life. He is very sad.

Then yesterday he got laid off from his job. I feel so bad for him. First his girlfriend, now the job. He has only had one real job, and he worked there for 3 years. He feels he is not qualified for much, he did do a little college but didn't seem to like it. So only has a high school diploma.

I am at a loss on how to help him. Don't want to baby him, but still feel like helping him during this difficult time.
