Can We Talk Toilet Paper?

My whole life I've used Scott toilet paper. Not the best but not the worst...a middle of the road brand.

Lately I've noticed the quality has gone downhill, and the paper is thinner than tissue paper. I realize it's one-ply but it's always been that way. I find we're using a LOT more paper, and the rolls are being used up very quickly.

Has anyone else noticed this? I may have to switch to the softer but more expensive brands. Any suggestions?
