Yes Im a nervous wreck kind of person. (And he never worries at all. DH reminds me of how my dad was, he never worried either).

And I must drive him and am advised not to drive much due to my back and nerve damage but I have to drive him the next few days.

So I got 6 shots in my back today so I hope they help for the next few days, so I can get him home from surgery, and to his follow up appt the next day.

I have my grown kids (his step kids) on back up to call if we need anything. But I didnt want to bother them to take off work for his surgery because each of my kids just had vacations and used their vacation days, and DD has 3 kids of her own to get to school and she works.

Anyway my husband has stood by me through all kinds of things since I met him (spine surgery, cancer, my bad back all the time). He is my rock and means the world to me! So I hope he will be OK, and I hope I can now help him to the best of my ability for the next few days.

(PS We did get the grocery shopping done for the next 2 weeks and DH did yard work, laundry and all is done just in case. But like I said my kids will help if need be too).

I truly feel all will go well! I will definitely send prayers! I do hope you don't try to do too much on your own! I know when my parents were alive I would have been hurt if they hadn't let me know I was needed! Is there a neighbor who could pitch in just for the rides? A church friend? Our town has a MediCoach that picks up people and drives them to doctors appts. I hope you take care of both of you! God bless!

My thoughts are with both you and your husband. I hope everything goes uneventful and successful with his surgery and recovery. I know you have had many Physical issues of your own, including your spinal issues.

Starting to remind me of my wife and myself. If it isn't my wife with problems, it is me. Round and round we go.

Thank you all for the kind words and prayers. (I actually sat and prayed reading the actual prayers). I appreciate it very much and I will tell DH in the morning how you all posted your kind words.

I will keep you posted when I can.

PS) His surgery is at 11:50 AM (Rather late for not being able to eat all of that time, since ealrier tonight. I bet he will be hungry afterwards even though he says it will be fine! He has to go home to lay on his back after surgery, but he can sit up to eat at home, and go to the bathroom of course, but otherwise he will be on his back only until Wed morning for the follow up).

Im off to bed. I always have insomnia but hopefully I can get some rest tonight!
