Re: Can I read books on my iPad

Yes, you can read books several ways. There is an app for Kindle and Nook. There is also iBooks. Overdrive is the app used by libraries, so,you can borrow ebooks. Overdrive is not a very user friendly app, but if you have trouble, your library may be able to help you get started. Good luck and happy reading!

Re: Can I read books on my iPad

I have the Kindle App on my ipad, and that's how I read my books. But there is also an ibooks app, that I've never used.

Keep in mind, that the ipad battery isn't as efficient as the ones on Kindles or Nooks. After about 4 hours of reading.....my ipad needs recharging.

Just an fyi for everyone, you can get a lot of free books at bookbub.com. You put in the genres you like to read and it will send you a daily email with cheap books and free. I've only gotten the free ones so can't tell you about buying. But my bookshelf is getting pretty full with all the freebies.

Of course you can read books on the IPad. Get a free Kindle App and you can buy them from Amazon among other places. And I second the recommendation of bookbub.com.
