[Love my grandkids]

different, thought of a kind of neat one, but don't have a clue as to how to do it.

Is it even possible? Not up to anything sneaky, just kind of tired of the one I have!

Go up to "my account", click on that.

Under your account will be a section called "communication preferences", and under that is "my nickname". Click on that and change it.

To see the change you have to sign out afterwords, and then resign in.

Suggestion: Write a note in your signature line (you can do this under "my preferences"-- which is one of the green links under where our nicknames show up here on this page) telling us who you were before.

If someone changes their nic then wants to return to their old one can they or is the old name now ""unavailable""?

Some of my old ones come up at taken, some not.

No rhyme or reason that I can see, because no one who actually posts uses my old one...

I did, sorry I never replied, Marp. My toes are killing me! I am taking some classes again, and I have to drive an hour to get to the college-- and then I have to walk about a mile to an from the parking to my classrooms. The driving is the worst, it is my right foot.

Hope you heal quickly. Does your vehicle have cruise control? If you aren't primarily on surface roads maybe you could manipulate it to relieve pressure on your foot. Easy for me to say, I brake with my left foot!

I don't think I have cruise control-- lol, I guess I should KNOW that, but I don't.

It would not work where I travel, too much traffic and breaking. You should hear me telling everyone (from the safety of my closed up car) how bad they drive.
