I'm told by @Kachina624 that you are a master at crochet !

I started a post asking if anyone can suggest a easy crochet pattern or set of patterns for making a newborn dress set including a hat, booties and a blanket. My daughter is expecting a baby girl in September, my first grandaughter and I want to surprise her with it to maybe dress the baby in when she goes home from the Hospital. I have seen a few patterns online but can you suggest a fairly easy pattern since I'm not a seasoned crocheter?  Thanks so much !

@Goodie2shoes

I wish I could!  I've never made baby clothes.

BUT there is a granny hexagon sweater pattern that can be made in any size.   There are many pattern versions online.  Extremely simple.  Two hexagons sewn together and a border added.

A good place to look for patterns is Yarnspirations dot com.  They have a really wide selection of patterns, and you can specify "beginner" patterns when you start your search.

Other places are yarn company websites.  For instance Lion

Brand, Berrocco, Premier Yarns .... but Yarnspirations has the largest variety.

Good luck .... happy pattern hunting.

@Goodie2shoes go to youtube and search " crochet baby set" or the individual pieces you want. There will be items for all skill levels, and for most of them you don't even need to know how to read a pattern. You just crochet along with the creator.
