@Kachina624 Are you getting any rain from Harold? We are getting rain, thunderstorms whatever goes along with that i.e. hail starting around noon tomorrow Fri 8/25. Temps in the low 70's tomorrow, a 20 degree drop from today.
How about anyone else particularly in a drought area, getting any much needed rain?
We've had plenty this year wish we could share. Most humid summer in my 25 yrs here. Not complaining just a different summer for sure.

@rockygems123 We did get a little rain last night and this morning. It's been very dry here in SW Colorado. It's a little humid here this afternoon as the sun came out a bit ago. Very heavy ceiling so maybe more rain to come...DW

@dancingwoman I sure hope so fingers crossed.
Are you as far south as Cortez? We have a work friend that lives in Alamosa that comes up to Denver area for estate sales, auctions etc. Haven't seen him for a while so don't know how they are faring in that area.

@rockygems123. We got a little rain overnight. There were no puddles so not much but my sidewalk was damp this morning. High here of 82° today lovin' that.
Funny thing, a woman on the next door app was alarmed because she saw a bright flash of light. I believe she was thinking aliens from space.
Several people immediately
responded, "lighting".
She said, "I never thought of that".
Bright and sunny here now after a gloomy morning.

NE AZ here; 10" so far this monsoon season, with 7 weeks to go (16" last year). Been drizzling most afternoons, highs in 70s, low 80s. Love Monsoon season.

Here in the Sacramento Mountains of southern New Mexico it drizzled tropical rain most of the day yesterday. It was that sparse drizzle that does not accumulate much moisture. Finally, late afternoon brought two stronger downpours that gave us a total of .6". It was nice to finally see actual rainfall.
They keep forecasting monsoon moisture, but we do not get it. Tomorrow is an 80% chance of thunderstorms. Fingers crossed. Maybe it will be widespread.

@Kachina624 Now that's funny assuming aliens vs lightening ha!
Oh good at least you got some rain and that it has cooled. Storm must be on its way here.
On another topic, I received the new in box pouch romance card American West Fritz Caruse owl enhancer pendant. On the box it says Handcrafted in New Mexico USA so hopefully box and piece are the originals that were matched together. So that would most likely mean your beautiful feather is made in the US too.
I'm looking forward to wearing this one, think it's a keeper and not a seller; I love owls. I can take a pic of it later and post it.

Amarillo, by morning, needs rain something awful.
Yard is turning brown and growing has come to stand
still.
I"m out dragging water hose to and fro to each shrub every 2-3 days. Sprinkler system runs at night, but, needs more help.

We received 1/2" on Aug. 25. This seems to be monsoon. It fell hard and fast. I hope the burn scar runoff wasn't too bad. That makes 1.1" combined with the Harold rain. We still need a lot of rain to make up for this year's lack of monsoon moisture here in the Sacramento Mountains in Southern New Mexico.
