So my ten year old niece and I spent the day making my sister's (her mother's) birthday cake today for tomorrow. 

My niece decided to make a Pinterest cake.  Start laughing now.

Below is what was intended and what actually happened.

It is so bad!  I bake my cakes very moist not realizing she needed more structure for what was in her head.  They all fell apart and it is put together basically like Play-Doh with frosting and rice krispie treats keeping it from a total poo cake. 

We were dying laughing!  We are calling it an ice cream sundae mudslide wine cake.

My mother used to tell us that no matter how bad food looks, as long as it tastes good, it all ends up in the same place.

@Laura14   It might not look "picture pretty" but I bet it tastes good; besides, it's homemade and done with love.

I would eat a piece or two--love chocolate.

@deepwaterdotter @aroc3435 That's what I told her.  It's a vanilla red velvet chocolate fudge mess with fudge, vanilla and dark chocolate frosting with rice krispie treats inserted where needed.  She ate a lot of the scraps and said it was delicious.  All that matters and no one in our family ever turned down any type of dessert ever.
